Prodromal phase may refer to the following: 1. The tingling or burning feeling that precedes the development of herpes blisters. 2. A phase before the seizure, in which an aura occurs odd, transient symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, or numbness may occur, as well as sensory alterations or hallucinations in any sensory domain 4.
