Assisted living refers to housing or living arrangements for the elderly, infirm, or disabled, in which housekeeping, meals, medical care, and other assistance is available to residen
ts as needed.
Assisted living are residences that provide a home "with services" and that emphasise residents' choice and privacy. Residents generally have private locking rooms, although may be shared by choice and bathrooms. Personal care services are available on a 24-hour-a-day basis.
