Graphology is defined as the study of handwriting to reveal the character or personality traits of the writer. It is also called Handwriting analysis, a method of measuring personality by looking at the way in which a person writes.

The principle behind Graphology is that people who share certain character and personality traits also exhibit similar shapes and forms in their handwriting. There are many individuals who, in evaluating the legitimacy of graphology, place it on the same level as astrology--which, in view of the popularity of astrology and the fact that millions of individuals not only believe in it but also undertake significant moves in their lives only after consulting their astrological charts, is not a bad place to be. There are, indeed, a great number of individuals who fervently believe in the worth of Graphology as a reliable method to learn valuable information about the personality of an individual through his or her writing.
