Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist refers to a medical doctor (M.D.); a physician with advanced training in treating people with psychological disorders. A Psychiatrist specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness. They can prescribe medication, which psychologists cannot do.
