Antecedents stimulus refers to events that precede a behavior, thought, or feeling and make it likely to occur

Anterior is defined as toward the front.

Anterior attention system refers to an attentional system of the brain mediating the voluntary control of attention that is supported by the frontal and medial cortices of the brain.
Anterior cerebral artery results from half of the division of an internal carotid artery, it supplies the anterior medial portion of its corresponding cerebral hemisphere.

Anterior commissure refers to set of axons connecting the two (2) cerebral hemispheres. It is smaller than the Corpus Callosum. They are minor intercerebral fibers.

Anterior communicating artery refer to artery that connects the left and right anterior cerebral arteries.

Anterior hypothalamus refers to the anterior portion of the hypothalamus which is an area of the brain below the thalamus that regulates the autonomic nervous system and the pituitary gland.

Anterior pituitary refers to the anterior portion of the pituitary gland; portion of the pituitary gland, composed of glandular tissue that secretes follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, adrenocorticotrophic hormone, thyroid-stimulating hormone, growth hormone, and prolactin.
