Constructive when prior experience affects how people recall things and what they actually recall from memory.

Constructive alternativism refers to Kelly's notion that it is always possible to view ourselves and the world in a variety of ways. It is the idea that humans are free to revise or replace their constructs with alternatives as needed.

Constructive perception it is when the perceiver builds (constructs ) a cognitive understanding (perception) of a stimulus; he or she not only uses sensory information as the foundation for the structure, but also uses other sources of information to build the perception

Constructive Play characterized as manipulation of objects for the purpose of constructing or creating something (Rubin, 1984).

Constructivism refers to a model that views the learner as actively inventing and building representations of reality, rather than as simply discovering what is already out there as illustrated in the theories of Piaget and Bruner.
