Epidemiology refers to the scientific discipline that studies the incidence, distribution, and control of disease in a population.

Epidermis is defined as the outer layers of the skin which includes a layer of dead skin cells.
Epididymis refers to a comma-shaped organ that sits atop the testicle and holds sperm during maturation.

Epididymitis is defined as an inflammation of the Epididymis in men, often resulting from STIs (sexually transmitted infections).

Epidural hematoma represents a bleed between the meninges and the skull and occurs in 1% to 3% of major closed head injuries. The cause of an Epidural is most usually related to the rupture of an artery.
Epidural space refers to the space between the two (2) dural layers of the meninges.

Epigamic means of or relating to a trait or behavior that attracts a mate.

Epigenesis is defined as the emergence of new structures and functions during the course of development.
