Entelechy is a term which according to Aristotle is the purpose for which a thing exists, which remains a potential until actualized. Active reason, for example, is the human Entelechy, but it exists only as a potential in many humans.
Entente is defined as a friendly understanding or agreement between two (2) or more parties, governments, and others.
Entente also refers to the parties to such an agreement.
Entitativity is a term described by Donald Campbell as the extent to which an assemblage of individuals is perceived to be a group rather than an aggregation of independent, unrelated individuals. Entitativity is the quality of being an entity.
In the psychology context, entitlement refers to a personality trait characterized by an individual's belief that they are inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment, regardless of their actions or achievements. Individuals with a strong sense of entitlement often expect favorable treatment and outcomes to be granted to them without corresponding effort or reciprocation. This trait can influence various aspects of behavior and interpersonal relationships, and it is often discussed in the realms of social psychology, personality psychology, and clinical psychology.
- Entitlement/Grandiosity: : Entitlement/Grandiosity refers to the sense that you are special or more important than others, and that you do not have to follow the rules like other people even though it may have a negative effect on others.
