Open desk arrangement refers to an office which is arranged so that a visitor can sit adjacent to rather than across from the person behind the desk.

Open-class words, moreover is a word from the categories of noun, verb, adjective, adverb which is labeled "open class" because new nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs can readily be coined and added to the language.
