The term "abnormality" refers to behavior, thoughts, or emotions that deviate significantly from what is considered typical or within the range of expected human experiences. Abnormal psychology is the branch of psychology dedicated to the study, assessment, and treatment of psychological disorders and conditions that are characterized by abnormal thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Abortion is the induced termination of a pregnancy before the fetus is capable of surviving outside the uterus or before fetal viability.
