Art therapy refers to a method of helping patients deal with emotional conflicts and awareness of their feelings by using a variety of art media such as paints, crayons, paper, or sculpting materials.

Arteries refer to large vessels that carry arterialized blood away from the heart.

Arterioles are small branches of an artery.

Arteriosclerosis refers to a condition marked by loss of elasticity and hardening of arteries; in which the arteries lose their elasticity and are more susceptible to blockages from clots or plaques

Arteriovenous malformations (AVM) refer to abnormal, usually redundant vessels which result in abnormal blood flow. Because AVMs have inherently weak vessel walls, they may lead to slow bleeding or inadequate distribution of blood in the regions surrounding the vessels.

Arthrodial joints are joints in which bones glide on each other in limited movement, as in the bones of the wrist (carpal) or the bones of the foot (tarsal).

Arthrokinematics refers to the motion between the actual articular surfaces of the bones at a joint.
