- Emil Kraepelin (1856_1926) : Emil Kraepelin published a list of categories of mental illness in 1883. Until recent times, many clinicians used this list to diagnose mental illness. Today the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (2000) serves the same purpose. Kraepelin was also a pioneer in the field known today as Psychopharmacology.

- Emil Kraepelin 1855-1925 : Emil Kraepelin was a psychiatrist who studied the description and classification of mental disorders, leading to what we now call the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, published by the American Psychiatric Association.

Eminence grise which is also known as Gray eminence refers to one who wields unofficial power, usually secretly, through someone else.

Emission refers to the release of secretions from various organs and glands that produce male ejaculate.

Emmert's law refers to a law stating that the size of an Afterimage depends on the distance of the surface against which the Afterimage is viewed. The farther away the surface, the larger the afterimage appears.

Emote means to express emotion, especially in an excessive or theatrical manner.

Emoticons refers to a facial symbols used when sending electronic messages online; an example would be :-). Opening up, talking with your partner, and sharing feelings ;

Emotion refers to a state characterized by physiological arousal, changes in facial expression, gestures, posture, and subjective feelings ; a pattern of action elicited by an external
