Incongruence
Incongruence refers to a state that exists when there is a discrepancy or disparity between one's experiences and self-image or between one's self-image and ideal self; the disharmony that takes place when there is a disagreement between individuals and their view of themselves and their actual experience.
Moreover, according to Rogers, Inconguence is a state of conflict between an individual's self-concept and his/her experience.
