Computer related crime refers the manipulation of a computer or computer data for criminal purposes.

Computer simulation refer to attempts to develop computer systems capable of mimicking the intelligent functioning of humans which include errors and biases. In Computer simulation, the emphasis is on process; in contrast, the field of Artificial Intelligence emphasizes the outcome. (see Artificial intelligence.)

Computer virus refers to a set of computer instructions that propagates copies or versions of itself into computer programs or data when it is executed.

Computer Viruses refer to malicious software programs written to damage or harass other computer systems

Computer-adaptive testing refers to a type of test taken on a computer in which the computer adapts the difficulty level of questions asked to the test-taker’s success in answering previous questions.
Computer-aided Investigation refer to computer programs that is used to analyze criminal information and to prepare investigative plans

Computer-assisted instruction (CAI) means the use of computers to teach new concepts and practice academic skills.

Computer-assisted self -interview or CASI refers to a method of data collection in which the respondent fills out questionnaires on a computer. If the respondents are young children or poor readers, headphones and a soundtrack reading the questions can be added.
