Inferential statistic is defined as a statistical test that allows one to infer the likelihood that an observed result is due to chance alone. Inferential Statistics, moreover are statistical procedures that help researchers determine whether obtained results support their hypotheses or can be attributed to chance variation; statistical methods used to determine when it is appropriate to generalize the results from a sample to an entire population.
Inferiority is defined as feelings of inadequacy and incompetence that develop during infancy and serve as the basis to strive for superiority in order to overcome feelings of inferiority. Inferiority is also defined as a sense of incompetence and failure that is built on negative evaluation and lack of skill.
Inferiority complex refers to a strong and pervasive belief that one is not as good as other people. It is often an exaggerated sense of feelings of inadequacy and insecurity that may result in being defensive or anxious; a condition that develops when a person is unable to compensate for normal inferiority feelings. According to Adler, Inferiority complex is the condition one experiences when overwhelmed by feelings of inferiority instead of being motivated toward success by those feelings.
