Person-by-situation approach

Person-by-situation approach refers to an approach to understanding behavior that maintains behavior is a function of the person as well as the situation.

Person-centered approach

Person-centered approach refers to a Client-centered approach when it is applied to problems or situations outside of the therapy room, such as Volunteer training, etc

Person-centered theory

Person-centered theory refers to the humanistic theory that focuses on the uniqueness of each individual, the importance of allowing each individual to achieve maximum fulfillment of potential, and the need for the individual to confront honestly the reality of his or her experiences in the world.

Person-centered therapy

person-centered therapy refers to a therapy method in which the client, rather than the counselor, primarily directs the course of discussion, seeking self-discovery and self- responsibility.
