Individual identity refers to the commitment to a personal integration of values, goals, and abilities that occurs as personal choices are made in response to anticipated or actual environmental demands at the end of adolescence.

- Individual intelligence test : Individual intelligence test refers to a test of intelligence designed to be given to a single individual by a trained specialist.
Individual psychotherapy refers to a psychological treatment in which the therapist works on a one-to-one basis with the client.

Individual sampling refers to a technique of behavioral observation involving identifying one participant to be observed during the first interval, then shifting attention to a different individual for the second interval, and so on.
Individual tests are tests that can be given to only one person at a time.
