Physis

Physis refers to a primary substance or element from which everything is thought to be derived.

Pia mater

Pia mater is a term which liiterally means "pious mother" that refers to a vascularized part of the Meninges that directly adheres to the surface of the Central Nervous System.

Piaget, Jean

Jean Piaget was born in 1896 at Neuchatel, Switzerland and died in 1980 at Geneva, Switzerland. He was a Swiss born biologist but because of his mother's poor mental health, Piaget became interested in psychopathology.

Piaget's Theory of Cognitive development refers to the perspective proposed by Jean Piaget (1896 to 1980) that thinking develops in a sequence of stages.
